Lark & Locket is named for the bird that sings before sunrise.
That felt like the right place to start, because most of what we sell is about looking up — crescent moons, rough stones with the light caught inside them, butterflies that glow once the room goes dark. Small things that make you notice where you are.
We are not going to tell you a stone will fix your sleep or your anxiety. Plenty of shops will. What we will tell you is that amethyst cut a certain way holds purple in the middle and goes almost clear at the edges, and that it looks remarkable against a grey jumper in February.
The other thing we care about is that it lasts. Most jewelry at this price is gold plated over brass, which tarnishes within weeks and turns your skin green. Everything here is 18K gold over 316L stainless steel — the steel surgical instruments are made from. Shower in it, swim in it, sleep in it. It stays the colour you bought.
